This convenient online diagnostic gives team leaders, team members, and interested stakeholders, a way to compare their view of the team’s strengths and weaknesses to a proven model of team effectiveness used by thousands of teams worldwide.

The Team Diagnostic™ is a unique approach because it regards the team as a dynamic “system.” A team is more than the sum of its parts. A team is a living, dynamic entity with its own personality, spoken and unspoken rules, vision, blind spots, even moods. With the Team Diagnostic™ the team’s needs are explored independently of the needs of any single member. This shifts the attention and the work to the team as a whole.

The Conflict Climate Inventory (CCI) is a unique assessment for understanding and improving conflict handling skills in a team. It draws on findings from over six decades of study, combined with 20+ years of hands-on experience working with over 60 organizations, that show how to best engage with conflict at work.

The Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument (TKI) assesses an individual’s behavior in conflict situations—that is, situations in which the concerns of two people appear to be incompatible. In conflict situations, we can describe a person’s behavior along two basic dimensions*: (1) assertiveness, the extent to which the individual attempts to satisfy his or her own concerns, and (2) cooperativeness, the extent to which the individual attempts to satisfy the other person’s concerns. These two dimensions of behavior can be used to define five methods of dealing with conflict. Competing, Collaborating, Compromising, Avoiding, Accommodating. This unique tool creates awareness of ones own tendencies and can be used with teams to build stronger awareness about how they can interact to boost innovation and reduce disputes.

Quantifying and managing organizational culture is critical for bringing an organization’s values “to life,” supporting the implementation of its strategies, and promoting adaptation, goal attainment, and sustainability. Beyond measuring operating culture, the OCI® assesses key outcomes of culture: individual member satisfaction, intention to stay, role clarity and role conflict, and perceptions of the organization's service quality.

Based on the How Culture Works Model, the OEI complements the Organizational Culture Inventory® (OCI®) by measuring the Causal Factors (Levers for Change) that shape culture and the Outcomes of culture at the individual, group, and organizational levels. This comprehensive survey, particularly when used in conjunction with the OCI®, assesses the most important internal factors and conditions likely to impact organizational performance and sustainability.

We specialize in team conflict and in addition to using the other assessments and tools on this page, we work with our clients to create custom tools that will create unique insights for unique teams. Please contact us today to learn more.
